We used Saw Contracts to carry out a complete refurbishment of our almost 200-year-old cottage. The inside plaster walls were removed and stripped back to brick and insulation installed throughout, staircases were removed and rebuilt, a kitchen and 2 bathrooms installed, and the whole house was dampproofed. The project was completed to a high standard and on-budget.
Steve and his team were reliable, hardworking, and professional in every way. They all communicated well throughout the project, listening carefully to what we wanted and checking details as they worked. They have also come back to fix any tiny issues that have arisen since they completed the work. Brilliant! We would not hesitate to recommend Saw Contracts for any project.

Steve has been undertaking work at our house for over a decade and over that time he has helped transform most of the rooms! His work, and that of his team, has been excellent and I would not hesitate to recommend them. As well as undertaking the practical tasks, he has also acted as a consultant on the design of projects to renovate our cellar and extend our kitchen, bringing ideas that have really enhanced the finished work. He also acts as the project manager, co-ordinating the timings of all the different stages and organising the relevant trades. He works with a great set of skilled crafts people all of whom are so friendly and polite and all work is completed to the highest standards. Everyone has always turned up on time, left everywhere as tidy as possible at the end of the day and projects have always been completed as scheduled. I know I can rely on Steve to give honest assessments/quotations and we trust his judgment; we always to turn to him for advice on all aspects of home repairs and improvements!

It was a pleasure to have Steve and his team to install a downstairs toilet at our house. He came to talk to us about our plans and was able to offer advice to achieve what we wanted. We knew he was busy and agreed a starting time for about nine months later, which actually suited us fine. He kept in touch in that time and came to the house several times to measure up and plan the installation. Work started on time and they were all very respectful of our property as they knocked it about! Slight modifications were needed as the work progressed but we were kept informed all the time about what was happening. The work was carried out very well indeed and we were delighted with the final outcome, which was exactly what we wanted. We have no hesitation in recommending them.
